Matti Järveläinen and Sebastian de Mel from ColloidTek were part of Business Finland delegation that participated Nanjing Innovation Week 2019, and met with representatives of several innovative Chinese companies in late June. Finland is cooperating with the greater Nanjing region in many fields, and Nanjing Tech Week was a boost to collaboration in the areas of energy, construction, air quality, environmental and industrial solutions. Nanjing Tech Week brought together more than 2000 participants from 26 different countries.
During the week in Nanjing, ColloidTek representatives met with numerous companies and discussed about further collaboration. On the first day Järveläinen and de Mel participated matchmaking meetings and demonstrated Collo sensor in Jiangsu International Science and Technology Exchange and Cooperation Center. Discussions of collaboration were had for example with Inrich Technology, a company that manufactures IOT-devices for electrical transformation stations, with Jiangsu Wisdom Engineering & Technology Co and with Jiangsu Delin Environmental Protection Technology Co.
On the third day of the business trip to China, Järveläinen and de Mel visited Lucelent, a company that offers full-factory building service, focusing on smart factories. They also introduced Collo measuring innovation and technology in a meeting with Business Invitation Bureau of China Yancheng Environmental Science and Technology City.
In addition to business meetings and representing Collo on a joint stand with other Finnish tech companies in Black Tech exhibition in Nanjing Tech Week, Järveläinen and de Mel were honored to introduce Collo innovation to Executive Deputy District Chief of Qinhuai District and other Nanjing officials. ColloidTek also visited Nanjing Tap Water Corporation, and introduced the Finnish joint venture of developing a method for detecting changes in water supply network quickly and economically.
